extends BacklinkBuilder<S>

Builder for a series' non-aggregated axis or embedded box plot field, obtained from AbstractChartSeries.protectedSetNonAggrFieldAxisX(String), AbstractChartSeries.protectedSetNonAggrFieldAxisY(String), or AbstractChartSeries.setBoxplotAxis() rather than instantiated directly. By default the axis is computed from the plain field name already supplied to whichever of those methods returned this builder; call withExpression() instead to compute it from a Datamart Expression.

Marks this axis as computed from the plain field name already supplied, as opposed to a Datamart Expression set via withExpression(). This is the default; call this method to make that choice explicit.

this NonAggrFieldAxis builder, for chaining further configuration

Returns the builder for computing this axis from a Datamart Expression instead of the plain field name already supplied. Call Expression.setExpression(String) on the returned builder to supply the expression, and optionally Expression.setDefaultValue(java.math.BigDecimal) and Expression.setDescription(String).

Returns:

a new Expression builder for this axis. Never null.
