Package com.googlecode.genericdao.search

package com.googlecode.genericdao.search
Filters that restrict which objects a search returns.

A filter is a condition on a property, such as equal to or greater than a value. Filters combine with Filter.and() and Filter.or(). A property can be nested, such as inputs.Customer.value, which matches one input of a Quote, a Rebate Agreement or another document with inputs and outputs.

Entry point: search calls on api, such as api.find(), take one or more filters. The example finds the Quotes of one customer.

 def quotes = api.find("Q", 0, 10, null,
         Filter.equal("inputs.Customer.value", "CD-00067"))

Filter a date property with an ISO-formatted string, such as "2026-01-31". To use one input or output of a document, filter on it as above. That is recommended over fetching the whole document.
